CNN-IBN: A joint command of the Lanzhou Military Region opposite Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and the Chengdu Military Region opposite India's North-east have come up. From Tibet, China can airlift 20,000 troops to anywhere along the frontiers with India in two hours. Full news
CNN-IBN also says that people in Arunachal live under fear of a China attack but this is not a good report in 8ak's opinion. Meanwhile, The Telegraph (Calcutta) reports are that the Indo-China joint friendship exercise due for December 2009 will not take place this year. Separately Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik went on record denying Chinese Air intrusions and saying that our air force is only about 1/3rd of China's.
